Obituary for Josephine T. Palmisano

Josephine T. Palmisano, 93, of Simpsonville, South Carolina formerly of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018. She was born in Newark and resided in Oakhurst for 55 years. She was married in Irvington on June 21, 1958. She was a Parishioner of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church in West Long Branch and a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Red Hat Society. She was a member at St. Mary Magdalene Roman Catholic Church in Simpsonville, SC. Josephine was employed at CampTown Savings in Newark for many years and later at MidAtlantic Savings Bank in Neptune, NJ.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Palmisano; Daughter, Joanne and her husband John of Simpsonville, SC; Son, Tony and his wife Susan Palmisano of Howell, NJ; Six grandchildren, Kaylee (Scotty), Ryan, Kieran and Aiden Creed, Gina and Joe Palmisano; and one great grandchild Kaden.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Funeral mass will be offered at 10:30 am Thursday at St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church followed by burial at Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls.
