Obituary for Edward P. DeSantis, Sr.

Edward P. DeSantis, Sr., 96, a lifelong resident of Long Branch, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, April 2, 2017.
He was a self-employed owner-operator of service stations in Oceanport and Atlantic Highlands before retiring. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 335 in Long Branch. He enjoyed his travels to the Pennsylvania Dutch Country and he enjoyed caring for his pets and any stray cat that came to his door.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marion Marshall DeSantis; his first wife, Mary Marra DeSantis; his parents, Frank and Angelina DeSantis; brothers, Henry and Felix and a sister, Frances.
Surviving are his sons, Frank and his wife Mary DeSantis, Edward DeSantis, Jr. and David DeSantis and Danielle Greenberg; sister, Eleanor DePonte and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-8 pm on Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral Service 10 am Thursday at the funeral home followed by entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
