Obituary for Virginia "Ginna" Dilger

Virginia “Ginna” Dilger, 65, of West Long Branch, passed away on March 30, 2016 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.
She was born in Hackensack and lived in Elmwood Park and West End, Long Branch before moving to West Long Branch 32 years ago. Happily married 41 years, she was a “breath of fresh air” to her husband and all those who knew her. After courageously defying the odds of many medical adversities for more than a decade, her fighting spirit had become a force to be reckoned with. Her flare for surprises and passion for travel, was only matched by her clever ability to find humor in everything or quote Seinfeld on a whim. She had a brilliance about her that inspired us always.
She was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy Meade.
Ginna is survived by her husband, Conrad J. Dilger, Jr.; her father, Sir George Meade; 3 daughters, Melissa, Christine and Ashley all at home; brother, George “Binky” Meade and 2 sisters, Jeanne Roche and Betsy Crocker.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 3-7 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral and burial will be private.
