What can I say about my Grandmother that you might not already know...She was the stain Guru. She coud get anything out of anything. I only learned a few of her tricks, so if you see me with a stain now it is only because she has gone up to heaven to wash Joseph's baby clothes in Ivory Snow Powder. She hated anyone doing her laundry, although she did let me do some, or my Mother this last year. She made the best Almond Cookies ever. I will try to make them but they will be missing her love. Maybe just use extra butter, ok Ma? we used to tease her and switch letters of names , so we called her and her boyfriend Ba & Mob instead of Ma & Bob. I will miss her asking me about work and asking me if me & Thomas made any money, or sharing customer stories with her. She was hard nosed, to the point and brutally honest, But if she loved you, she loved you!She would give you the shirt off her back. She spoiled all the dogs as bad as the grandkids. She read to me at night when I was little, all the time. My favorite place ever was at her house. I wrote this as a child when asked in elementary school. We would hit all the big department stores in the mall when I was a kid. No perfume or make up counter was safe from us. She taught me how to shop till' u drop, butto also be thrifty. thanks Ma, this has saved me many times. I just want to say that I loved her with all my heart and now there is this huge hole that I am afraid will never heal up with her gone. I really never evr thought about losing her, She was more than a Grandmother to me, she was a best friend! Until we meet again Ms.Mena The Bat! xxxooo Marybeth p.s. I would give everything I own to hear your voice or have you yell at me for something again!;)
