Obituary for Anthony H. Pinho

Anthony H. Pinho, 80, of Neptune, formerly of Watchung, died Saturday at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark.
He was born in Murtosa, Portugal and came to this country in 1945. He lived in Tarrytown, NY, Newark and Watchung before moving to Neptune in 2002. He was a communicant of Holy Innocents Roman Catholic Church in Neptune and was an US Army veteran.
He was vice-president of sales for Canada Dry in Maspeth, NY for 21 years. He then became an owner of a franchise for Bachman Snacks retiring in 1993.
He was predeceased by his parents, David and Zulmira Silva Pinho.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann Vieira Pinho; daughter, Denise and her husband Rick Ipsen of Eatontown; son, David Pinho of Alpharetta, Georgia; sisters, Ilda and her husband Horacio Filipe, Emilia and her husband Manuel Andrade and Maria and her husband Agostinho Simao and 3 grandchildren, Karli, Jack and Sam.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered 10:30 am Thursday at Holy Innocents Church in Neptune. Burial will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
