Obituary for Maria Paxia

Maria Paxia, 84, of Long Branch, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Monmouth Care Center in Long Branch.

She was born in Naro, Sicily and lived in France before moving to Long Branch in 1972.

She was a communicant of Christ the King Parish of Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch.

Surviving are her husband Salvatore; son, Joseph Paxia of Long Branch; daughter, Anne Paxia of Texas and 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Philippe and Sara Paxia.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 1:30 pm until her funeral service at 3:30 pm Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
