Obituary for William Aranguren
William Aranguren 72, of Ocean Twp., NJ entered eternal life on Saturday May 25, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family after battling Muscular Dystrophy for more than 2 decades. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ and resided in Sayreville, NJ before moving to Ocean Twp. in 1979.
Mr. Aranguren was an electrical engineer and retired in 1997 after over 30 years of service as a “Fellow” for Bell Labs, in Holmdel, NJ. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the US Navy and he also had a great passion for boating and fishing.
Mr. Aranguren was pre-deceased by his parents; William and Sadie Aranguren and his sister; Joann Jewel. He is survived by his childhood sweatheart and wife of 49 years, Donna Fallon Aranguren, his son; Daniel Aranguren of Ocean Twp., and his daughter; Melanie Caponigro of Eatontown along with his grandson, Nicholas Aranguren.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Rd. Oakhurst, NJ on Wednesday from 4 – 7 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 12 noon with entombment to follow at Monmouth Memorial Park Mausoleum, Tinton Falls, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations would be preferred to the veterans Fisher House at www.fisherhouse.org/about.
