Warren H. Cochran, Jr., 64, of Long Branch, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at home.

He was born in Neptune and grew up in Neptune City. He lived in Jackson and Asbury Park before moving to Long Branch 31 years ago.

He was a pump station operator at the Monmouth County Reclamation Center in Tinton Falls for 15 years before retiring in 2008. Prior to that, he was a glazer at Glass World in Ocean Township and then for Kaabe Glass in Long Branch.

He was a member of the Monmouth County Pistol & Gun Club, the Central Jersey Pistol & Gun Club, the NRA, Long Branch Elks, American Legion Post 346 and the Middletown VFW. He enjoyed skeet and target shooting. He was a Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed camping and visited many places over the years.



He was predeceased by his parents, Minerva and Warren H. Cochran, Sr.



Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Jackie Brown Cochran; sister, Eileen and her husband Nick Marsella; mother-in-law, Elaine Brown; sister and brother-in-;aw, Jeannie and John Krumeich and a nephew, Nick and 4 nieces, Melissa, Erin, Chloe and Kelsey.
