Obituary for Vittorio Zolofra
Vittorio Zolofra, 88, of Ocean Township, formerly of Long Branch, passed peacefully at home on
Saturday, July 31, 2021 with his sons by his side.
Vittorio one of ten children, was born and raised in Fondi, Italy. In 1968 at the age of 35, he along with his beloved wife Vincenza and son Mario, immigrated to the United States settling in Long Branch.
He was a career mason who worked well into his 70’s and his beautiful craftsmanship is depicted throughout Monmouth County. Vittorio enjoyed his life surrounded with an abundance of family and friends hosting large dinners and attending their constant celebrations. His favorite pastimes were horse racing and playing cards with his brothers and friends.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years Vincenza; parents Rosaria and Luigi; brothers, Vincenzo, Raphael, Rocco, Benito and sisters Christina and Nancy.
He is survived by his devoted sons Mario and wife Stacey, Giovanni and wife Annette; adoring grandchildren Nicolas, Tomas and Isabella; his cherished brothers Antonio and Mario, sister Silvana and many wonderful sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be from 9-10 am Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Fiore Funeral Home , 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst followed by entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum , 14 Maple Avenue, Oceanport NJ.
