Obituary for Victor J. Webb

Victor Jon Webb, 73, of Howell, died at home on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 after a short illness.

Victor was born in Metuchen and lived in Old Bridge and Toms River before moving to Howell 10 years ago. He loved going to garage and estate sales, the Washington Redskins and trips to Atlantic City. But above all, he loved his family, which always came first. He loved animals and birds and took great joy from them. He was a generous and selfless person who had a kind word for everyone and always let his family know they were loved. He owned and operated V&V Vending over the past 30 years and owned and operated a candy store for many years at the Cecom and Hexagon Buildings at Fort Monmouth before they closed.

Victor was predeceased by his son, Scott, his brother, Bill and his parents, Mary and Roderick Webb.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Victoria; his children, daughter, Bonnie West and her husband Craig of Toms River, son, John Webb of Howell, son, Daniel Joseph Webb of Mount Holly, son, Daniel Patrick Webb and his wife Rachel of Neptune and daughter, Jennifer Webb of Toms River. He is also survivied by 6 grandchildren, Robert and Ryan West and Tiffanie, Victoria, Matthew and Michael Webb and a great grandson, Xavier.
