Obituary for Thomas M. Farrell Jr.
Thomas M. Farrell, Jr., 72, of Eatontown, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021.
He was born in Long Branch and lived in Shrewsbury before moving to Eatontown 50 years ago.
He was the founder and proprietor of Thomas Farrell Landscape Supply in Shrewsbury and ran Thomas Farrell Contracting in Shrewsbury since he was 17 years old.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Shrewsbury. Tom liked racecars and repairing old machinery.
He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas M. Sr. and Elizabeth Farrell.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Ellen Beach Farrell; sons, Thomas M. Farrell III and his wife Tara and Dennis Farrell and his wife Nela; grandchildren, Reese Farrell and Thomas M. Farrell IV; and sisters, Edith Ryan and Irene Houston.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-7 pm on Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral service will be held at 10 am Thursday at the funeral home followed by burial at the Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Shrewsbury.
