Obituary for Rosemary Marino

Rosemary Marino of Allenhurst Rosemary Marino, a lifelong devotee of the New York Yankees, left our lives Sunday at the age of 55. Rosemary attended schools in Asbury Park, Wall and Neptune. She was a communicant and altar server at St. Mary's Church, Deal. She was a member of the Womens Club of Asbury Park, Catholic Daughters, St. Mary's Altar Rosary Society and the Cartonian Club. Rosemary attended CCD classes at St. Margaret's Church, Spring Lake. Rosemary participated in activities with the Friends of Special Children; bowling, golf and Manasquan Elks basketball. She delighted in watching her Yankees,a true fan. Rosemary was born in Allenhurst and lived there before moving to Wayside to live with her sister, Josette and her family. Rosemary was predeceased by her parents, Marie and Anthony Marino and her constant companion, maternal grandmother, Rose DeVona. She is survived by her sister Josette and husband Tim Nogueria and her brothers Edward and Anthony. She is also survived by her nieces, Elizabeth and husband Michael; Kathryn and husband Matthew; Sarah, Emily and Christine and husband Justin and a nephew Rick and partner Robert. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Shorrock Gardens Care Center in Brick for the loving and special care given to Rosemary. A thank you also to the nurses of Compassionate Care Hospice. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-6 pm in Buckley Funeral Home 509 Second Ave. Asbury Park NJ. All are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:30 am in St. Mary's Church, Deal. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery is private.
