Rose DeVito, 80, of Eatontown, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at home.

She was born in Long Branch and lived there before moving to Eatontown.

She worked in the cafeteria in the Meadowbrook School in Eatontown and then at the Little Silver Point Road School in Little Silver before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown and a member of the church choir. She was a 1949 graduate of Long Branch High School.

Rose was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Carmela Graziano Fiore and 2 brothers, Samuel Fiore and Nufrio “Stumpy” Fiore.



Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Ralph; her children, Theresa and her husband Bob Britton of Eatontown, Ralph and his wife Linda DeVito of West Long Branch and Anthony and his wife Kim DeVito of Modesto, CA; sister, Natalie Fiore of Tinton Falls; sister-in-law, Evelyn Fiore of Ocean; 7 grandchildren, Casey and Ryan Britton and Ralph, Jamie, TJ, Rutger and Christiana DeVito and 1 great-grandson, Anthony DeVito.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Tuesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral 9 am Wednesday from the funeral home followed by a 10 am Funeral Mass at St. Dorothea's Church, Eatontown. Entombment will be at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Barnabas Health Hospice, 300 Second Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740
