Roger J. Rossignol, 70, of Eatontown, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch .He was born in New York and lived in Lewiston, ME, Matawan and Oakhurst before moving to Eatontown 2 years ago. He served in the US Marines Corps. He was a former member of Young Republicans and the Knights of Columbus. He was president and co-owner of International Protective Coatings in Oakhurst from 1984 until retiring in 1999. He was an avid sailor and a licensed captain. He was a loving husband and wanted to sail around the world with Gloria. He was kind, generous, had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Williard and Claire Rossignol and a brother, Richard.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria Cone Rossignol, his children, Vincent and his wife Jennifer Rossignol of FL, Michael and his wife Dawn Rossignol of Morristown, David and his wife Terri Rossignol of ME and Tricia and her husband John Giard of ME; his brothers, Robert Rossignol of GA, Rodney Rossignol of FL; sisters, Maxine Shanks of FL and Barbara Hughes of ME; mother-in-law, Martha Cone, sister in-law, Linda Kennedy and her daughters Christine Stevens and Allison Kennedy, Brother-in- laws Richard Cone and Ralph Cone Jr. ; 6 grandchildren, Ashley, Maxwell, Zackary, Renee, Morgan and Lucy; Many other relatives, loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-5 pm Sunday at Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, NJ. Funeral service 10 am Monday at the funeral home followed by burial at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
