Robert James Rosseter, 75, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, succumbed to complications of Alzheimer's disease on Monday, October 14, 2013.

He was born at home in Bradley Beach and resided in the Glendola section of Wall, Belmar and Avon-by-the-Sea before moving to Oakhurst in 1987.

A student of Manasquan High School, he completed his graduation requirements while serving in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1959.
He was employed at Wardell's Dairy after returning from military service and then for Shore Beverage Company in Wanamassa for over 20 years. He then worked at Shore Point Distributors in Freehold, retiring in 2003.

He was predeceased by his parents, George A. and Cynthia Hauselt Rosseter, sister, Joanne Rosseter and two sons, Matthew Rosseter and Anthony Gardner.

Surviving are his wife, Lenore Moran Rosseter; son, Robert J. Rosseter, Jr. of Virginia; two daughters, Catherine Carragher of Neptune City and Stephanie Rosseter of Brick Township; two granddaughters, Jessica Johnson and Amanda Stout and two great-grandchildren, Spencer and Mackenzie Johnson; two brothers, Richard and Gary Rosseter both of Wall Township; four nephews, James, Richard, Brian, and Kevin and two nieces, Lisa and Christine.
In addition, he is also survived by an extended family consisting of Dr. Joel and Mrs. Debra Ross and staff who gave unending professional care and heartfelt personal guidance.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 9:30 am until his service at 10:30 am Saturday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst followed by inurnment at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport.
