Obituary for Robert Ebner Jr.
Robert "Bob" H. Ebner, Jr., 62, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 30, 2022. He was born in Long Branch and graduated from Ocean Township High School in 1977. Following graduation, he served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps and attained the rank of Sergeant. After serving in the Marines, he lived and worked in Monmouth County NJ and held various positions as a Heavy Equipment Class A Mechanic, an Owner Operator CDL Driver, and a part-time taxi driver before moving to Arizona.
Bob had a passionate interest in music from playing the drums and performing locally to attending concerts and local artist venues. He was an avid NY Giants and NY Yankees fan, even as an Arizona resident.
He is predeceased by his beloved sister Leslie Ann Ebner.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Barbara Ebner; his three daughters, Danielle, Rachel, and Carly; his granddaughters, Faith and Sage; his two cats, Honey and Junior; his sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Dominick DiGioia; two nephews, two uncles, an aunt and several cousins.
Bob had a heart of gold. He had compassion towards veterans and the disabled. He was also an animal lover who fostered stray cats.
