Obituary for Philip V. Morici
Philip V. Morici, 82, of Ocean Township, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
He was born in Sicily and came to this country at age 9 living in New York City. He moved to Ocean in 1969.
He was a former member of the Italian American Association of the Township of Ocean.
He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen Morici; his parents, Vincenzo and Maria Morici and a brother, Francesco Morici.
Surviving are his children, Una and her husband David Rusin and Mark and his wife Nicole Morici; sister, Rose Rappa and 4 grandchildren, Sofia and Nicolas Rusin and Layla and Charlotte Morici.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 6-8 pm Thursday the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 am Friday at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in West End, Long Branch. Burial will follow at Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls.
