Peter A. Cittadino, Jr., 59, of West Long Branch, passed away early Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
He was born in Long Branch and lived there most of his life before moving to West Long Branch 12 years ago to live with his brother / guardian Michael Cittadino.
Peter was involved with activities of the ARC of Monmouth. He also participated in the Special Olympics. Peter loved music. He played his records and guitar. He also enjoyed watching soap operas, movies and old TV shows. Peters sweetness and gentle ways will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Madelin Emmons Cittadino.
Surviving are his brothers, Michael and his wife Debbie and their children, Justin, Nicholas and Jessica, John and his wife Roseanne and their children, Samantha, Matthew and Jonathan and Richard and his daughter Caitlyn and his aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral 9 am Friday from the funeral home followed by at 10 am Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch.
