Obituary for Patricia "Tish" Russo

Patricia “Tish” Russo, 68, a lifelong resident of Long Branch, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Tish entertained thousands of children by performing skits as a clown during several seasons at Great Adventure Amusement Park in Jackson. She traveled cross country with Circus Vargas. She played several roles including Sunshine the clown, Raggedy Ann and a ghoul in a haunted mansion. She also appeared as one of the stars of a 1981 commercial for Great Adventure.
Later, Tish started working as a commissary store cashier at Fort Monmouth. She then joined the Materiel Management Division of the CSA Logistics Directorate in 1982. She became a clerk for the West Long Branch Post Office until retiring in 2003.
She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Anna Russo; sister, Sharon Kwiatkowski and brothers, Thomas Russo, Jr. and Joseph Russo.
Surviving are her daughter, Turia Russo; sisters, AnnaMarie Newman, Francine Raymond and Mary Russo Boyce; brother, Frank Russo and 16 nieces and nephews.
