Michael Patrick Burke, 52, of West Long Branch NJ passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Michael was the son of Edmund and Theresa Burke and was born at Monmouth Medical Center on October 24, 1968. Michael attended Frank Antonides Elementary and Shore Regional High School in West Long Branch. In May of 2015 he was granted a Patent by the Unites States Patent Office. Michael was an avid music lover and musician and loved playing guitar and drums. He was an entrepreneur and studio engineer, recording countless bands at his many recording and rehearsal studios while also struggling as a single father. Michael was a devout Catholic and often turned to his faith enduring a difficult career as a long-haul truck driver in his final years.
He is survived by his wife Shannon, his son Aqaurius, his daughter Olivia Boland daughter of Michael and Paula Boland, his mother Theresa and his brothers Edmund and James.
Visiting with the family will be on Saturday from 8:15 am until his Memorial Mass at 9 am at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
