Obituary for Marios Grivas
Marios Grivas, 88, of Ocean Township, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 31, 2022. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Ocean Township in 1972.
Mr. Grivas was the proprietor of GranPa’s Luncheonette in Deal and GranPa’s Restaurant in Ocean, NJ and retired in 1995 after over 10 years of service. He was also a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Navy from which he was honorably discharged.
Mr. Grivas is survived by 3 daughters, Stella Feeney and husband, Andy of Las Vegas, Terry Koenig and husband Mark of Ocean Township, and Theresa Sarbello and husband James of Ocean Township. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tim and Patrick Feeney; Alex and Christopher Koenig; Sophia and Angelina Sarbello and his great-grandchild, Taylor Feeney.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 5-6 pm on Monday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township and attend services at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Cancer Society.
