Lydia Maria Rodriguez, 78, of Long Branch died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at home.

She was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico and moved to Long Branch in 1967. She was deeply religious and attended Christ the King Parish in Long Branch.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anibal in 1983 and her son, Raymond.

Lydia is survived by her children, Carmen Pacheco, Martha Torres, Hector, Ruben, Maria, Luisa and Adele Rodriguez, Laura Borcherg and Lilly Perez; 9 siblings; 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 6-8 pm Monday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Tuesday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Long Branch followed by burial at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
