Lucy DiBenedetto, 95, of Neptune City, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, of natural causes. She was the daughter of Giuseppe and Carmella DiBenedetto, Bronx, NY.

Lucy had 6 siblings all predeceased: George, Helen, Eddie, Larry, Tony, and John.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jacqueline Yencarelli of Long Branch, NJ, and Joanne Ciervo of Eatontown, NJ, and their husbands Michael R. Yencarelli and Raymond C. Ciervo respectively.

Lucy had 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 7great great-grandchildren.

Lucy graduated from Roosevelt High School in the Bronx, NY. She worked most of her life as a waitress in food services and finished her working life as a cook for the Officer’s Club at Fort Monmouth, NJ.

Lucy loved playing cards, bingo, and tending a small garden. She loved her family and took great pleasure in family gatherings. She will be greatly missed.
