Loretta Shebell Webb 1922-2021 Wall - Loretta Shebell Webb, 98, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2021 at Sunrise of Wall in the presence of her family. Loretta was born on October 4, 1922 in Asbury Park, NJ. She is a graduate of Asbury Park High School, was a communicant of Mt Carmel Church, and worked for the New Jersey Unemployment Office for many years. Loretta married Edward L Webb in 1968 and moved to Silver Spring, MD. Loretta and Ed retired in 1977 to New Smyrna Beach, FL where they enjoyed golf, boating, and Smyrna Yacht Club. Loretta was very close to her family, enjoyed large holiday gatherings, and was an avid shopper. Loretta is survived by seven loving nephews and nieces: Catherine (Michael) Brown, Peter Shebell, Stephen Shebell, Susan (William) Gittins, Mark (Anna) Shebell, Barbara (Robb) Rush and Christine Zakutney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L Webb, her parents, Peter Shebell Sr & Rose (Steo), and her brothers Anthony J & Frances (Fuhr) and Peter Jr & Barbara (Newberry). Loretta’s family extend gratitude to the Sunrise of Wall team and Meridian Hospice for their caregiver  skills during Loretta’s final journey. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Buckley Funeral Home in Asbury Park. A graveside service will immediately follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery in Neptune.
