Obituary for Karen W. Daly
Karen W. Daly, 75, of West Long Branch, passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2024.
Born in Union, New Jersey and lived in Long Branch before moving with her beloved family to West Long Branch in 1985.
A devout communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Deal, and a Committeewoman of the Borough of West Long Branch. Her lifelong passion for art and music was reflected through her many talents.
Her career as Psychiatric R/N began at Monmouth Medical Center. She worked at the Genesis House and Easter Seals and volunteered for the Drug Alliance/DARE Program and Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey. The ultimate giver to everyone, she expected nothing in return. An Angel walking among us.
She was predeceased by her parents, Victor and Adeline Wolff and her sister, Nancy Wolff.
Surviving is her husband, George R. Daly, Jr.; 2 sons, Ryan V. and Geoffrey R. Daly; 2 brothers, Robert (Janice) and Rick Wolff and 9 nieces and nephews, Aaron, Emily, Elise, Stephen, Laura, Peter, Libby, Thomas and Christopher and many extended family and close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit 1:00-5:00 pm Tuesday at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road in Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church, in Deal. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in West Long Branch.
