Obituary for Judith L Quitne

Judy L Quitne was called home to paradise with Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 22, 2022. It was a reunion they were both looking forward to.
Judy had to leave behind her best friend and husband of 53 years, John, who will miss her every day for the rest of his life.
Surviving are her two children; Jennifer Quitne and Jason Quitne and his wife Samantha Myers and their daughter Dylan. Judy often referred to Dylan as the greatest child God has ever produced. Jason and Jenny talked about their Mom as the Greatest Mom ever. She was teased often about being "SuperMom" a title that embarrassed her, but that she secretly loved. Judy is also survived by her two brothers, Richard and Jack Egan and a sister, Chuckles Straham.
During her remarkable life, Judy touched so many wonderful people through her commitment to True Life Church in Brick, NJ where she taught kids ministry and counseled many with a sensitivity rarely found anywhere. She used that same sensitivity as a volunteer with the Long Branch Police Department for many years. She was also an Easter Seals caregiver, loving and working with Justin Lotz.
Judy was born in Brooklyn, NY and has lived in Ocean, NJ, since 1981. She graduated magna cum laude from Waldorf College in 1970, where she met John. They made a commitment to each other than to love and support each other and the success of their marriage is entirely a matter of her refusal to accept anything less than perfection. She was a one of a kind.
Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 11 am. at the First Baptist Church of Manasquan. In lieu of flowers, please support True Life Church, 1800 Lanes Mill Rd., Brick, NJ 08724
