Obituary for Josip "Joe" Jurasic
Josip "Joe" Jurasic, 81,of Asbury Park, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
He was born in Krk, Croatia and lived in Brooklyn and Ocean Township before moving to Asbury Park.
Joe worked as a merchant marine for Exxon Corporation for many years. He then worked for the Township of Ocean Sewerage Authority before his retirement.
Surviving are his son, Joseph and his wife Ornela and their daughter Damiana Jurasic and his former spouse Nydia Pola.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-7 pm Monday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Asbury Park followed by burial at Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls.
