Josephine M. Santandrea of West Long Branch passed away at the age of 100 on Friday, December 30, 2022, at her home. Born in Lorain, Ohio, Josephine lived in Long Branch prior to moving to West Long Branch where she was a communicant of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, and a member of the West Branch Leisure Club.

Mrs. Santandrea worked as an editor and writer at Fort Monmouth for 31 years before retiring in 1973 and was a lifetime member of NARFE.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 39 years, Angelo, her parents, Bruno and Maria Sestito, her brothers, Anthony and Joseph Sestito and her sister, Jean DeLisa.
Surviving are nieces, Maria McNulty, JoAnn Kohler and Theresa Milliken, and nephew, Anthony Sestito.
The family would like to thank her caregiver of 7 years, Magde Kovzadze, and her most recent caregiver, Nino Peranidze for their dedication and compassion.
