Jorge Bonifaz, 87 of Asbury Park, NJ passed away on February 2, 2022, after battling Cancer for many years. He was born in Cayambe, Ecuador and moved to the United States in 1967 and lived in Asbury Park since 1970. Jorge served in the Navy in Ecuador, and he was proud of his time as a sailor. He was an avid photographer, loved music, playing the guitar and he was a wonderful dancer. Jorge is predeceased by his son, Benny Bonifaz (2007). Jorge leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years Laura, sister Fabiola and two brothers: Cristobal and Lenin. Son, Raul Yepez and wife Sandra Yepez, their children Nina, Natasha and Darren, Son, Jerry Yepez, partner Jacqueline Dixon, Jerry’s daughter Brittany, daughter Cathy Delacruz and her daughter Cassie Delacruz, daughter, Iris Blanco and husband Berlais Blanco, children, Christina, Andrew, and Bianca, daughter, Paula Caruso and husband James Caruso, children Terrance and James, Also grandson Joshua Bonifaz. (son of Benny). Jorge will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and many more family and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday February 5, 2022 2:00 PM-4:00 Pm and 6:00 PM-8:00 Pm at Buckley Funeral Home 509 Second Ave Asbury Park. Interment is private
