Obituary for JoAnn E. Hackett
JoAnn E. Hackett, 73, of Ocean Grove, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
She was born on August 31, 1948 in Newark, NJ to Paul A. McDonough and Josephine Finneran.
She grew up in Newark and attended Our Lady of Good Counsel grade school in Newark and graduated in 1966 from Mount Saint Dominic’s Academy in Caldwell, NJ. She graduated in 1970 from Seton Hall University with a BA in education. She then spent several years teaching in Harrison Public school system.
She married Thomas Hackett in 1972. They lived in Bricktown NJ, Hawaii and Michigan. She was later divorced and spent the rest of her years in the New Jersey shore area.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother, Paul and her sisters, MaryJo. and Kathy. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia and Colleen, and a total of ten nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
