Obituary for James M. Coles

James M. Coles, 87, a lifelong resident of Long Branch, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was a manager at the Windmill in Long Branch for 13 years before retiring 25 years ago. He was an Army veteran of WW II and a communicant of Christ the King Parish at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Long Branch.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ward and Mary Coles and a brother, Ward Coles.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Theresa; his children, James Coles, Jr. and wife Diane, Robert Coles and wife Bonnie, Mary Haw and husband William, Joseph Coles, Michael Coles and wife Chrystiane, Theresa Coles and Jennifer Mayfield and husband Ryan; 8 grandchildren, James M. Coles III, Christine Checki, Thomas, Ashley and Christopher Mayfield, Lori Ann Haw and Nicholas and Mason Coles and 3 great-grandchildren, Nolan, Amelia and Destiny Checki.
