Obituary for German Roman

German Roman, 77, of West Long Branch, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021.
He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and moved to the Bronx in 1953. He lived in Long Branch before moving to West Long Branch 4 years ago.
He worked for Vicoa in Eatontown before retiring. He was an avid NY Yankee fan and enjoyed playing cards and dominoes.
He was predeceased by his parents, Americo Roman and Ana Rosa Millet.
He is survived by his wife, Alida Vargas; 6 children, Sandra Borrero, Herman Roman, Jr., Luis Irizarry, Carlos Irizarry, Justin Ocasio and Rachel Kathy Roman; brother, Emerito Roman; 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 5-8 pm Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Graveside service will be held at 11 am Tuesday at Glenwood Cemetery in West Long Branch. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
