Obituary for George H. Woodward III
George H. Woodward III, 53, of Asbury Park, passed away suddenly at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
He was born in Long Branch and lived in Elberon and Deal before moving to Asbury Park 12 years ago.
He was a truck driver for ABC Roofing Supply in Tinton Falls for the last 12 years.
George enjoyed bicycle riding, motorcycles, trucks, country music, the ocean and was an animal lover.
He was predeceased by his father, George Woodward, Jr.
Surviving is his mother, Theda Bennett Woodward; his longtime partner, Rose Pierson and her children, Dale Pierson, Haylee Pierson and her partner Riley Fahnholz; granddaughter, Autumn Grace; uncles and aunts, Leon and Jane Bennett, Michael and Paula Bennett and Kathleen Vasquez; his great aunt, Ann White; his godmother, Mary Jonasson and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 5-8 pm Wednesday and 10-11 am on Thursday at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township.
