Obituary for George F. Raymond III
George F. Raymond III, 73, of Long Branch, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023.
He was born in Orange and lived in Cliffwood Beach before moving to Long Branch in 1972.
After graduating from Matawan High School, George joined the US Coast Guard. After he was honorably discharged, he started working at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch for over 30 years and retired as chief engineer. Later, he worked at the Monmouth County Jail retiring in 2009. He loved old cars, motorcycles and animals.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Arlene Raymond.
Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Francine; sons, George Raymond IV and Lisa Raymond and their children, George Raymond V, Donald Raymond and Emmaleigh Raymond; Brant Raymond and his girlfriend Trinity Conway and her children, Mya, Jerimya, Giovanni, Dominic and Jacob; sister, Cindy Raymond and his brother, Guy and his wife Christine Raymond.
