Frank L. Sorrentino, 78, of Long Branch, died Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.

He was born and raised in Westfield before moving to Long Branch 43 years ago.

He was a butcher for Pathmark Supermarket in Eatontown for 35 years before retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and the Long Branch Seniors.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Luigi and Josephine Sorrentino and his sister, Madeline Creran.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Carol; son, Glenn and his wife Sandy Sorrentino of Absecon; daughters, Lisa and her husband Joseph VanDam of Long Branch and Beth and her husband Don Applegate of Neptune and 3 grandchildren, Laura and Craig VanDam and Alexis Applegate.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church followed by burial at Glenwood Cemetery in West Long Branch.
