Obituary for Francisco Gonzalez
Francisco “Papo” Gonzalez, 72, of Long Branch, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020.
He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and moved to Long Branch in 1974. He was a member of the Puerto Rican Social Club, the Spanish Fraternity and the Monmouth Medical Baseball teams.
He worked in dietary at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch before retiring.
He was predeceased by his wife, Maria Serrano Gonzalez in 2006.
Surviving are his children, Madeline, Francisco “Tito” and Carmen Ivette Gonzalez; 2 brothers, Afrodicio and Victor Gonzalez; 7 grandchildren, Shavany, Devin, Jazmyn, Chelsea, Victor, Daiana and Kitzamar and 3 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Nahianys and Khaly.
