Frances Gaven "Fran" San Filippo, 96, entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Fran was born June 8, 1916 in Newark to John W. and Helen (nee: Troy) Gaven, where she resided until 1984 when she moved to South Mantoloking.

She was predeceased by her husband, W. Eugene San Filippo. She is survived by her children and their spouses, William E. and Angela San Filippo Jr., Arthur J. and Joan San Filippo, Philip E. and Catherine San Filippo, Esq., and Jane and Robert Wilhelm; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 17 at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 18 at St. Leo's Church, Lincroft. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.
