Obituary for Frances P. Diglio (Grandinetti)

Frances P. Diglio, 93, of Ocean Township, died on Sunday, February 28, 2016.
She was born in Long Branch and lived in Asbury Park before moving to Ocean Township.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Catholic War Veterans both in Asbury Park. She was co-owner of Larry’s Luncheonette in Wanamassa for 26 years and then was a cashier at Perkin’s in Long Branch.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence in 2012; her parents, Generoso and Amelia Grandinetti; her grandson, John Kronenberger in 2012; her siblings, Louis, Nick, Angelo and Joseph Grandinetti and Louise Trimboli.
Surviving are a son, Lawrence and his wife Alexandra Diglio of West Long Branch; daughter, Patricia and her husband Joseph Connelly of Toms River; 6 grandchildren, Jerry, Larry III, David, Clint, Jr., Joe, Jr. and Megan and 6 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kaylee, John, Aubriana, Jillian and Benjamin.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 3-7 pm Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Asbury Park followed by burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Neptune.
