Florence L. Cosentino, 90, of West Long Branch, died peacefully at Barnabas Health Hospice surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 24, 2013.

She worked at Bendix in Eatontown and then as a waitress at the Shadowbrook in Shrewsbury and Ilvento's West End Manor. She also worked in Medical Records at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch retiring in 1989.


She was a communicant of Christ the King Parish in Long Branch and was a member of the West Long Branch Fire Company #2 Ladies Auxiliary and the Eatontown Elks Ladies Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her parents, sisters and a brother, Edie, Helen, Dot and Roy.

Surviving are her husband, Emilio A. Cosentino; daughter, Dale Hunt and her husband Tom; son, Mitchell Schnider; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-8 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 am Monday at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport.
