Obituary for Emiliana Hernandez
Emiliana Hernandez, of Long Branch, passed away surrounded by her family on her birthday at age 99.
She was born in Lares, Puerto Rico and lived in Bronx, Luquillo, Puerto Rico and Brooklyn before moving to Long Branch in 1976.
She was a communicant of the former St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Long Branch and the Highlands Senior Citizens.
She was predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Carmen Hernandez and her son, Francisco Beauchamp.
She is survived by her sons, Adolfo and his wife Norma Gonzalez, Eladio (Peter) Serrano and Jose Serrano; brother, Hernan Hernandez; sisters, Elsa Vargas, Minerva Vargas and Elba Hernandez; 4 grandsons, Luis A., David A. and Daniel A. Gonzalez and Ryan Serrano and 5 great-grandchildren, Joshua E., Karina M., Ariana K., David A. and Auden C. Gonzalez.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Friday at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Long Branch with entombment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
