Obituary for Ellen Marie Schirmer
Ellen Marie Schirmer, 69, of Long Branch, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
She was born in Pennsylvania and lived most of her life in Elizabeth and Hillside before moving to Long Branch 8 years ago.
She was a teacher for the Elizabeth Board of Education from 1989 until retiring in 2020.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. William and Jean Marie Schirmer and 2 brothers, Peter and Matthew Schirmer.
Surviving are 4 daughters, Jodi Lipsher, Carrie Lipsher, Jennie Lipsher and her husband Chris Sunseri and Aimee Lipsher; grandson, Matthew Lipsher; 5 brothers, Thomas, Michael, Joseph, Christopher and Paul Schirmer and a sister, Karen Coon.
