Dr. Stephen Lee Safran
Oakhurst, NJ – Stephen Lee Safran, 77, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Born October 25, 1945 in Perth Amboy, NJ to the late Walter and Ruth Safran.
Stephen graduated from Rutgers Prep High School in 1963, he was a graduate of Temple University, Grenoble University in France and Guadalajara Medical School.
He worked at Jersey Shore Medical Center and later took over his family business, Perth Amboy Coal and Oil.
He had a lifelong passion for exotic cars, boats and love of hunting.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, his children Stephen Toth, Stephanie Michals, his son-in-law, Spiro Michals and his adoring grandchildren, Spencer, Logan and Olivia Michals.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday from 9:30 am until his funeral service at 11:30 am at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township followed by a repast at Deal Country Club.
