Dr. Carl Butler, 50, of Loch Arbour, died Monday, July 21, 2014 at home.

He was born in Los Angeles, CA and grew up in Hawthorne and Simi Valley before moving to Loch Arbor 4 years ago.

He was a physician and a graduate of Simi Valley High School, University of Maryland with a degree in chemistry and a graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He was a US Marines Veteran and an avid surfer since he was 15 years old. He loved to travel the world to surf.

Surviving are his children, Alec, twins Carlos and Risus, and Zoila Butler all of Quantico, MD; his parents, Donald and Karen Butler of Carson City, Nevada; his fiancé, Lisa Molluso of Old Bridge; his brother, R. Paul and his wife Megan Butler of Washington, DC and the mother of his children, Karen Esteban.
