Obituary for Donnamarie Acquaro

Donnamarie "ReeRee" Acquaro, 53, a lifelong resident of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, passed away at home on Friday, June 14, 2019.
She was a dispatcher for Surf Taxi in Asbury Park and a 1984 graduate of Ocean Township High School.
ReeRee was a free spirit and had a mind of her own. She loved life until her leg had to be removed. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and friend. She enjoyed poems, especially ones with ladybugs and playing the voice of Penguino with her niece, Alyssa.
She was predeceased by her mother, Claire.
Surviving are her father, Andrew Acquaro; sister, Sharon and her husband Edward Juliano; niece, Alyssa Juliano and nephew, Michael and his wife Marisa Acquaro.
To my daughter: I love you. If I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes. Only then would you realize how special you are to me. Love, Dad.
In Loving Memory of my sister; If roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my sister’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her that I love her and miss her and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day. But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away. I may remember something you’ve said, or good advice you’ve given me, or maybe just some little joke we’ve shared, and it makes me realize just how very much you mean to me. You add so much to my life that no one else could, and I love you for it all.
My dear aunt: Even though there are times when we can’t be together, I always feel close to you. It must be because I think of you often, and the thought of you always makes me feel good.
