Charles J. Pulos, of Wanamassa, Ocean Township, died Tuesdayat Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.

He was born in Kingston, PA and lived in Oakhurst before moving to Wanamassa. He was a teacher for the Oceanport Board of Education for 37 years before retiring in 1994. After retiring, he opened Charlie's Antique Clock Repair in Wanamassa. He was a member of National Association of Clock and Watch Collectors, the National Dahlia Society, and the NJEA and NEA. He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Deal. He was a graduate of Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre, PA with a BS degree. He was an Air Force veteran and was a flight engineer during the Berlin Airlift.

He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Josephine Pulos his granddaughter, Faith Anne Martin and a brother, John Pulos.

Surviving are his wife, Anne Kennedy Pulos; son, Christopher J. Pulos of Wanamassa, daughter, Kara and her husband James Martin of Freehold and 2 granddaughters, Riley Anne and Macie Catherine Martin.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 12-2 pm with a service at 1:30 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Wanamassa First Aid Squad, 1401 Wickapecko Drive, Wanamassa, NJ 07712. Internment will be private at the convenience of the family.
