Obituary for Charles F Letsche
Charles F. Letsche, 94 of Oakhurst, Ocean Township entered into eternal life on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. He was born in Asbury Park, NJ and resided there until moving to Oakhurst in 1968
Mr. Letsche was a supervisor with NJ Bell Telephone Co. in both Neptune and Red Bank and retired in 1981 after 36 years of service and also served in the US Army in Germany in the post war occupation forces.
Mr. Letsche was a member of the Ballard United Methodist Church in Asbury Park of which his family were founding members of the church. He was also a member of the former Old Orchard Country Club in Eatontown where he enjoyed many rounds of golf and later was an avid boater and fisherman and active at the Pleasure Bay Yacht Club in Oceanport.
Mr. Letsche was predeceased by his parents, Louis & Marie Letsche; brother, Louis Letsche and sister, Marion Blochel.
He is survived by his wife, Herta Aleith Letsche; son, Howard and wife Shannon Letsche of Wall Twp.; daughter, Susan and husband Robert Vetrano of Ocean Twp.; brother, William Letsche of Shrewsbury; grandchildren Amber Caputo, Alyssa and Bob Vetrano, Ryan, Ashley, Brody and Chloe Letsche and a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Letsche along with several nieces and nephews.
All funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family and under the direction of the Fiore Funeral Home, Oakhurst, NJ
