Obituary for Charles H. Ladd, Jr.
Charles Haven Ladd, Jr., died from a sudden heart attack on February 23, 2023.
His wife of 49 years, Adele Rouzaut Ladd, had passed away three years earlier.
Charles was the son of Charles Haven and Phyllis Howe Ladd of Needham,
Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston.
Charles and Adele joined St. James Episcopal Church shortly after settling in the Oakhurst area when they moved from Boston in 1971.
Their son, Charles Haven Ladd III, was born in 1972 and resides with his wife Martine Lowenthal Ladd in Tinton Falls.
Charles Ladd devoted his career to retirement plan administration. After more than a decade at New England Life, he established his own firm, Charles Ladd, Esq., in 1982. He was a 1964 graduate of Colorado College and received his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law. His high school years were spent at Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts.
He was also survived by his loving brothers and their families, beautiful
granddaughters, and dearest great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 10 am until his funeral service at 10:30 am Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township.
