Cecilia F. LaMorte, 94, of Oceanport, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at home on Monday, October 25, 2021.
She was born in Long Branch to Louis and Jennie Scott Paduano. She grew up in Long Branch and lived in Oceanport since 1979,
She was a communicant of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in West End, Long Branch.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Anthony “Sonny” LaMorte in 2011; her parents; brothers, Carney and Joseph Paduano and sisters, Jennie Anfuso, Catherine Celli, Carmella Penta, Louise Dellera and Minnie Siciliano.
Surviving are 2 sons, William and his wife Virginia LaMorte of Colts Neck, daughter, Lucille and her husband Albert Chaump of Oceanport and Anthony L. LaMorte and Maria Falvo of Oceanport; brother-in-law, Salvatore F. LaMorte; sister-in-law, Gloria LaMorte; 7 grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Quinn LaMorte, Nicholas and his wife Jeana LaMorte, Dr. Michael and Lauren Chaump, Alexandra, and her husband James O’Malley and Victoria and Nicole LaMorte and 2 great-grandsons, Luciano and Antonio LaMorte.
