Obituary for Betty Anagnostis
Betty G. Anagnostis, daughter of the late Victor and Mildred White; beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend.
Lifelong resident of Long Branch, aged 78 years, passed away March 9, 2021.
Betty is a 1961 graduate of Long Branch High School. She is survived by two of her three sons, Steven, and Richard; her eldest brother Frederick, and her sister Judith; predeceased by her son, Anthony and her brother Gregory. Betty was blessed with four grandchildren.
In her cherished years with us, Betty worked as an Assembler at EAI for many years. She taught Sunday School here in Long Branch for several years, and several years as a Teacher's Aid. For a period of time, Betty helped her mother with the Women’s Auxiliary, supporting Long Branch’s Volunteer Fire Department and First Aid Squad.
We will say our last goodbyes at Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch, on March 17, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
