Barbara A. Bennett, 71, of Oceanport, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.

She was born in New Brunswick and was a lifelong resident of the shore.

She was a communicant, Eucharistic minister and a member of Catholic Women of Zion and also very active in many ministries of St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church in Eatontown.

She was a senior care administrator for Coughlin Management Company in Rahway.

Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was predeceased be her husband, Earl T. Bennett in 2006 and her parents, Nicholas and Mary Marine.

Surviving are her children, Earl N. and his wife Stephanie Bennett of West Palm Beach, FL, Gina Marie and her husband John Rescigno of West Deal and Nick J. and his wife Karen Bennett of Freehold Township; ten grandchildren, Bethany, Matthew, Sondra, Erin, Scott, Heather, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Dylan and Landon and six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Ethan, Aaron, Madelyne, Asher and Alexa.
